3 Days in Busan: a Ready-Made Itinerary
3 days · 12 stops · Updated July 2026
This is the classic first-timer route through Busan, drawn from our hand-curated library of real, verified places. A T-money or Cashbee card works on Busan's subway and buses; Line 2 threads most of the beaches and city stops on this route. Busan is mild and coastal — late spring and early autumn are ideal, and summer brings its famous beach season. Every stop lists an arrival time, a realistic visit length and the distance to the next stop.

Day 1 Nampo & Jagalchi
09:00
BIFF Square
The birthplace of the Busan International Film Festival, its pavement studded with star handprints and famous for the original ssiat-hotteok stalls.
TipThe hotteok here is the Busan original — get one straight off the griddle.
↓ 0.4 km
11:30
Jagalchi Fish Market
Korea's largest seafood market, where you pick live fish, crab and abalone from the ground-floor tanks and have it served as sashimi or spicy stew upstairs.
TipAgree a price before it's weighed; the upstairs cooking fee is small and worth it.
↓ 0.5 km
13:15
Yongdusan Park & Busan Tower
A hilltop park above Nampo reached by escalator, crowned by the 120-m Busan Tower with harbour panoramas and a pigeon-filled plaza.
TipRide the outdoor escalator up from Gwangbok-ro to save the climb.
↓ 0.3 km
14:30
Gukje Market
A sprawling postwar market maze of clothing, tools and everything else, threaded with legendary street-food alleys made famous by the film 'Ode to My Father'.
TipFollow your nose to the food alley for ssiat hotteok and Busan-style dumplings (closed 1st & 3rd Sundays).
Day 2 Gamcheon Village
09:00
Gamcheon Culture Village
A hillside of pastel houses stacked like a Korean Santorini, threaded with murals, tiny galleries and the beloved 'Little Prince' viewpoint statue.
TipBuy the stamp-map at the entrance and collect stamps as you wind up to the top viewpoint.
↓ 0.1 km
11:30
Gamcheon Alley Cafés
The village's rooftop and terrace cafés serve coffee and snacks with sweeping views over the tumbling coloured rooftops.
TipA terrace café near the Little Prince statue is the classic photo-and-coffee stop.
↓ 2.4 km
13:00
Songdo Beach
Korea's oldest public beach, with a curving coastal walk, a cloud-trolley cable car over the sea and a glass-floored skywalk.
TipRide the Songdo Marine Cable Car over the water for the best coastal views.
↓ 1.6 km
14:30
Songdo Yonggung Suspension Bridge
A footbridge from Amnam Park across the waves to the rocky islet of Dongseom, with the sea churning below and views back along the coast to the cable car.
TipCombine it with the Songdo cable car and coastal walk into one seaside loop.
Day 3 Haeundae Beach
09:00
Haeundae Beach
Busan's iconic 1.5-km crescent of pale sand backed by high-rises — the summer heart of the city, lined with cafés and seafood counters. A dawn or dusk walk is glorious year-round.
TipWalk the seaside Dalmaji (Moontan) Road at the east end for the best coastal views.
↓ 0.6 km
11:30
Haeundae Market
A covered market lane a block from the beach, packed with ssiat hotteok (seed-stuffed pancakes), grilled eel, live seafood and Busan's beloved wheat noodles.
TipThe seed-hotteok stall with the longest queue is worth the wait.
↓ 1.5 km
13:00
Dongbaek Island
A wooded headland (now a peninsula) circled by a wooden coastal boardwalk, with camellias, a lighthouse and the mermaid statue framing Gwangan Bridge.
TipThe full loop takes about 40 minutes — go at sunset for the bridge lit up.
↓ 0.4 km
17:30
The Bay 101
A waterfront deck where the Marine City skyline mirrors in the harbour after dark — Busan's most photographed night view, with bars and a fried-chicken kiosk.
TipOrder fish and chips or chicken and watch the towers light up from the pier.
