3 Days in Jeju: a Ready-Made Itinerary
3 days · 12 stops · Updated July 2026
This is the classic first-timer route through Jeju, drawn from our hand-curated library of real, verified places. Jeju has no subway — rent a car for freedom, or use the 200-series intercity and 700-series local buses to link these spots. Jeju is Korea's mildest region; spring canola and autumn are gorgeous, and even winter rarely freezes near the coast. Every stop lists an arrival time, a realistic visit length and the distance to the next stop.

Day 1 Jeju City & the North Coast
09:00
Iho Tewoo Beach
A close-to-town beach with dark volcanic sand and two candy-striped pony-shaped lighthouses that glow at sunset — a local sunset favourite.
TipThe horse lighthouses are the photo; arrive around golden hour.
↓ 7.1 km
11:30
Dongmun Traditional Market
Jeju City's lively covered market, the best single stop for island flavours — black-pork skewers, hallabong tangerines, omegi rice cake and fresh sashimi.
TipCome hungry in the evening when the street-food stalls fire up.
↓ 1.4 km
12:45
Yongduam Rock
A dragon-head basalt formation rising from the surf on the city's edge, ringed by a short coastal walk and haenyeo (women divers) selling their catch.
TipLook for the haenyeo grandmothers selling fresh abalone and sea urchin right on the rocks.
↓ 1.3 km
17:00
Jeju Black Pork Street
A lane of grill houses specialising in Jeju's prized heukdwaeji (black pork), thick-cut and grilled over charcoal, eaten with anchovy-paste dip and salt.
TipOrder the samgyeopsal-and-moksal combo and dip it in the local melchijeot sauce.
Day 2 Aewol & the West Coast
09:00
Handam Coastal Walk (Aewol)
A photogenic black-rock coastal path through Aewol, dotted with cliff-edge cafés and clear tide pools — the west coast's café-hopping heart.
TipTime a coffee at a cliff café here for sunset over the water.
↓ 17.7 km
11:30
O'sulloc Tea Museum
A green-tea museum and café set among rolling tea fields, serving green-tea lattes, roll cake and ice cream beside Innisfree's flagship.
TipWalk out into the tea fields behind the museum for the classic photo.
↓ 10.4 km
13:15
Hallim Park
A large botanical park combining subtropical gardens, a folk village and two illuminated limestone-lava caves — a lot of variety in one stop.
TipGreat for families and rainy days thanks to the covered caves and greenhouses.
↓ 0.5 km
15:00
Hyeopjae Beach
A dazzling white-sand beach of shallow emerald water facing Biyangdo island, backed by pines — one of Jeju's most beautiful swimming beaches.
TipIt pairs perfectly with Hallim Park right next door for a half-day.
Day 3 Seogwipo & the South
09:00
Cheonjiyeon Waterfall
A broad 22-m waterfall reached by a short lantern-lit forest walk in Seogwipo, plunging into a pool ringed by subtropical trees.
TipThe walk in is flat and stroller-friendly; it's floodlit and open into the evening.
↓ 0.8 km
11:30
Seogwipo Maeil Olle Market
Seogwipo's covered market and the best southern food stop — hallabong juice, black-pork buns, mackerel and the famous 'Olle' fishcake croquettes.
TipThe dokkaebi (goblin) mandarin-stuffed hotteok is a local cult favourite.
↓ 1.9 km
13:00
Oedolgae Rock
A lone 20-m sea stack off a cliff-top pine walk on the Olle trail, with wide South Sea views and a starring role in Korean film and drama.
TipIt's the start of Olle Route 7 — walk a little of the coastal trail for the best angles.
↓ 11.0 km
14:30
Jusangjeolli Cliffs
A wall of jet-black hexagonal basalt columns dropping into the sea, forged by lava meeting water — a mesmerising natural staircase.
TipGo near high tide when waves crash dramatically against the columns.
